Mike and his son, Blue
Meet Mike (he’s the one with the dreads!) Mike Hamel is one of New Zealand’s best and most celebrated hairdressers, he is an entrepreneur, a New Zealand ping pong rep, an all-round great guy and Blue’s Dad. Blue was T&D’s first intern, rolling up his sleeves and helping out with anything and everything that needed to be done, but that lasted about 3 minutes once we worked out how talented he is. Since then he has done photo shoots, directed and produced videos, created social media content and run events for us – basically we think he is a star – watch this space. These guys were so much fun on the day and complete naturals to work with. Check out Mike at gmhair.nz and see his amazing catalog of work. Needless to say when it comes to grooming this ain’t Mike’s first rodeo, he knows a thing or two about product, the good news is he loves T&D and we often pick his brains for advice on how ‘things to do with hair’ might work. These guys are total stars and we consider them part of the T&D family – thanks Mike for producing Blue and for being such a great dad - rock n roll.

Blue remember looking after you at cricket tournaments when dad was coaching you have certainly grown up from that wee fellow we had running around Ilam fields. Dads not too bad a coach either regards Tealo
